This Business Development role is dedicated to Operations Efficiency where our solutions are built to innovate and optimise the efficiency of a companies day-to-day operations. This has three components:
- Distribution: Optimise logistics processes, strengthen customer relationships and sales opportunities and reduce a companies environmental impact with our one-stop solution for last-mile distribution.
- Maintenance: Give a companies maintenance, asset and reliability team the tools and information they need to operate digital efficiently, increase asset availability, improve overall equipment effectiveness and TPM while reducing costs.
- Service: All-in-one service management software to maximise resource efficiency, improve first time fix rates, net promotor scores, reduce energy, waste and emissions with 360 Field Service Excellence.
YOUR MISSION
Business Development is a key role that has responsibility for the growth of our market area within Distribution, Maintenance and Service at osapiens. You will be part of a new team who are responsible for generating new sales opportunities.
Within Business Development, you will:
- Take ownership of the initial outreach, focusing on lead generation, messaging, timing, communication channels, and follow-up methods.
- Implement and manage specific campaigns; long and short term.
- Collaborate with colleagues to conduct comprehensive market analysis, exploring various market domains or focus areas.
- Clearly articulate the service offering, process, and unique selling points (USPs) to potential customers before scheduling the initial discovery meeting with the sales representative.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with all relevant stakeholders involved in the customer decision-making process.
- Thoroughly document all interactions, including planned follow-ups, in the CRM system (HubSpot).
- Proactively seek feedback on discovery meetings conducted by the sales representative and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular, insightful reports for senior management, providing top-of-the-funnel reviews and accurate forecasts.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- 2+ years of lead generation or business development experience
- Proven track record in business development within a field that is similar or relevant to Distribution, Field Service or Maintenance
- You will speak English and either German, Dutch or French to a professional working level
