Your role as a Working Student in Sales & Business Development will be dedicated to our ESG team. Our osapiens HUB puts us at the forefront of the sustainability movement. This enables companies to fully comply with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and the Whistleblower Directive, to calculate their corporate carbon footprint, to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive or the EU Deforestation Regulation.
Your Mission
As a working student in Sales & Business Development, you will play an important role in supporting our sales team to grow and expand to international markets. You will take part in preparing and developing sales opportunities and winning strategies for our software solutions. This position will closely work together with the Sales Managers. Our team offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on experience in the international sales processes, market research, and cross-cultural communication.
Your Responsibilities
  • Discovering pains and demands at prospects to derive the right sales strategy in early stages of the sales process
  • Conceptualise, oversee, implement, and monitor customer support activities within our CRM system for both new and existing clients.
  • Conduct follow-ups, compile statistics, and track sales performance through detailed reporting and analysis.
  • Perform market analyses to identify potential leads and opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide daily support to Account Executives by preparing offers and proposals.
  • Provide daily support to our sales team and contribute to the formulation of sales strategies for our software solutions.
  • Assist in client screening and research to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor's activities to form winning sales strategies
Your Experience
  • Currently enrolled in a business degree program with a specialisation in business, sales, marketing or related (Bachelor in min. 5th semester or in Master)
  • First experience (internships/ working student roles) in fast-paced business environments like in management consulting, sales, Scale/Start-ups, VC, strategy departments.
  • Result-oriented mindset focused on driving business growth and consistently achieving targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach towards learning and contributing to the sales team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable to collaborating in diverse and global environments.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate academic commitments and business needs.
  • Proficiency in both German and English at a professional level.
