Your Mission

Join our geospatial analysis team in our offices in Mannheim. This team specializes in cutting-edge analytics for satellite data, providing a dynamic workplace aimed at enhancing backend systems for scalability and robustness. Our mission is to develop advanced technologies that power scalable, production-ready applications.

We are developing an enterprise software solution that delivers insights from satellite-data analysis to our customers. The technology you will work on is crucial for enhancing system stability and scalability across multiple nodes, ensuring robust and efficient data handling within a distributed environment.

We are seeking a passionate Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in TypeScript and Node.js development.

Your Responsibilities

Architect and develop backend services using TypeScript and Node.js to support high-volume data processing
Design scalable backend architectures capable of handling large datasets in distributed environments
Optimise performance and scalability of applications without the use of microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy our solutions seamlessly
Engage in the full application lifecycle, emphasising robust coding practices, debugging, and high-quality design
Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture

Your Experience

Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js
Expertise in building scalable enterprise applications that handle large amounts of data
Strong understanding of distributed computing and data handling tools
Experience with RESTful services and API development for seamless system integration
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with experience in collaborative environments
