Deine Mission

Als (Senior) Manager Konzernrechnungswesen - Konsolidierung übernimmst Du die Verantwortung für die Erstellung und Durchführung der Konzernabschlüsse (Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse) nach HGB und IFRS, einschließlich Konzernanhang und -lagebericht. Du berichtest direkt an den Head of Accounting und sicherst die Qualität der Konsolidierungsprozesse. Nach erfolgreicher IFRS-Konversion baust Du federführend die monatliche Konsolidierung und IFRS-Konversion ein und bist der zentrale Ansprechpartner für den Wirtschaftsprüfer in allen Audit-Fragestellungen.

Du arbeitest eng mit Finance Operations, dem Shared Service Center Headquarters Mannheim, Corporate Accounting, Tax und Controlling zusammen, um die Konsolidierungsprozesse effizient zu gestalten und sicherzustellen, dass alle Berichterstattung zeitgerecht und korrekt erfolgt. Dabei trägst Du maßgeblich zur Weiterentwicklung und Automatisierung von Konsolidierungs- und Reporting-Prozessen bei und bist verantwortlich für die Einführung und Optimierung der Konsolidierungssoftware.

Mit Deiner Expertise und Deiner Hands-on-Mentalität sorgst Du dafür, dass die Accountingabteilung optimal auf skalierbares internationales Wachstum und die Kapitalmarktfähigkeit ausgerichtet wird. Du begleitest M&A-Projekte und integrierst neue Tochtergesellschaften in den IFRS-Konzernabschluss. Zudem trägst Du maßgeblich zur kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung der Konsolidierungs- und Reporting-Prozesse bei, um Finance weiter zu professionalisieren und auf das nächste Finanzlevel zu heben. Konzernabschlüsse und Reporting: Erstellung und Verantwortung für die monatlichen, quartalsweisen und jährlichen Konzernabschlüsse (nach HGB und teilweise IFRS) einschließlich Konzernanhang und -lagebericht. Verantwortung für interne und externe Konzernreportings.
Konsolidierung: Durchführung der Konsolidierungsprozesse nach HGB und IFRS, einschließlich der Analyse und Buchung von Konsolidierungsvorgängen (z. B. Währungsumrechnung, Aufwands- und Ertragskonsolidierung, Kapital- und Schuldenkonsolidierung). Sicherstellung der Intercompany-Abstimmung, Bearbeitung von Abweichungen sowie Qualitätssicherung und Validierung der Bilanzierungsergebnisse aus den Konzerngesellschaften.
Insourcing der Konsolidierung und Konzernabschlusserstellung: Übernahme der Konsolidierung und Konzernabschlusserstellung von einer externen Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in den laufenden operativen Betrieb. Du sicherst eine nahtlose Integration und Optimierung der Prozesse innerhalb des internen Teams.
Einführung Konsolidierungssoftware: Verantwortung für die Einführung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Konsolidierungssoftware, um Konsolidierungs- und Reportingprozesse effizient und skalierbar zu gestalten.
Prozessoptimierung und Automatisierung: Weiterentwicklung und Automatisierung der Konsolidierungs- und Reporting-Prozesse.
Reporting und Kontrolle: Überprüfung und Validierung von Reporting Packages sowie Durchführung von Financial Controls zur Sicherstellung der Richtigkeit und Qualität der Konzernabschlüsse
Bilanzierungsrichtlinien und Accounting Manual: Erstellung und Implementierung konzernweiter Bilanzierungsrichtlinien sowie die Entwicklung eines Accounting Manuals zur Harmonisierung und Standardisierung der Bilanzierungsprozesse weltweit.
M&A-Projekte: Aktive Mitwirkung bei M&A-Transaktionen und Integration neuer Tochtergesellschaften in den IFRS-Konzernabschluss.
Spezielle Bilanzierungs- und Konsolidierungsfragen: Bearbeitung komplexer Bilanzierungs- und Konsolidierungsthemen wie Merger, Erst- und Entkonsolidierungen, PPAs und mehr.
Verantwortung für die Wirtschaftsprüfer-Steuerung: Du bist verantwortlich für die Wirtschaftsprüfersteuerung in der Konzernabschluss-Auditierung und sorgst für einen reibungslosen Prüfungsprozess.

Deine Erfahrung

Ausbildung: Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Accounting, Finanzen oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich. Zusatzqualifikationen wie Wirtschaftsprüfer oder CPA sind von Vorteil.
Berufserfahrung: Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Konzernrechnungswesen oder in der Wirtschaftsprüfung, idealerweise in einem internationalen Umfeld.
Technische Konsolidierung: Umfangreiche Erfahrung in der technischen Konsolidierung sowie in der Einführung und Optimierung von Konsolidierungssoftwarelösungen.
Fachkenntnisse: Fundierte Kenntnisse in HGB und IFRS, Erfahrung mit US GAAP von Vorteil. Sichere Bilanzierung und Audit-proof-Expertise bei Einzel- und Konzernabschlüssen
Spezifische Kenntnisse und Branchenerfahrung: Fundiertes Wissen in IFRS-Konversion, ERP-Einführungen und der Integration neuer Gesellschaften (M&A). Erfahrung im SaaS-Geschäftsmodell ist von Vorteil.
Technologiekompetenz: Erfahrung in der Digitalisierung und Automatisierung von Prozessen, insbesondere im Finanz- und Reportingbereich.
Internationalisierung: Praxis in der Internationalisierung von Finanzstrukturen und Prozessen sowie im Aufbau skalierbarer Reporting-Systeme.
Sprachkenntnisse: Verhandlungssicher in Deutsch und Englisch, zusätzliche Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil, um in einem internationalen Umfeld erfolgreich zu agieren.

Your Mission

As a (Senior) Manager Group Accounting - Consolidation, you will take responsibility for the preparation and execution of consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including group notes and management reports. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting and ensure the quality of the consolidation processes. Following a successful IFRS conversion, you will take the lead in establishing monthly consolidation and IFRS conversion processes and act as the central contact person for the auditor in all audit-related matters.

You will work closely with Finance Operations, the Shared Service Center Headquarters in Mannheim, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Controlling to ensure efficient consolidation processes and to guarantee that all reporting is accurate and timely. In doing so, you will significantly contribute to the development and automation of consolidation and reporting processes and take responsibility for the implementation and optimization of consolidation software.

With your expertise and hands-on mentality, you will ensure that the accounting department is optimally aligned for scalable international growth and capital market readiness. You will support M&A projects and integrate new subsidiaries into the IFRS group financial statements. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of consolidation and reporting processes, driving the professionalization of Finance to the next level. Your Responsibilities

Group Financial Statements and Reporting: Preparation and responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements (according to HGB and partially IFRS), including group notes and management reports. Accountability for internal and external group reporting.
Consolidation: Execution of consolidation processes in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including the analysis and posting of consolidation entries (e.g., currency translation, income and expense consolidation, capital and debt consolidation). Ensuring intercompany reconciliation, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining quality assurance and validation of accounting results from group entities.
Insourcing Consolidation and Group Financial Statements: Transitioning consolidation and group financial statement preparation from an external audit firm into operational processes. Ensuring seamless integration and optimization of workflows within the internal team.
Implementation of Consolidation Software: Responsibility for implementing and continuously improving consolidation software to ensure efficient and scalable consolidation and reporting processes.
Process Optimization and Automation: Advancing and automating consolidation and reporting processes.
Reporting and Controls: Reviewing and validating reporting packages, as well as performing financial controls to ensure the accuracy and quality of group financial statements.
Accounting Policies and Manuals: Developing and implementing group-wide accounting policies and creating an accounting manual to harmonize and standardize accounting processes globally.
M&A Projects: Active involvement in M&A transactions and the integration of new subsidiaries into the IFRS group financial statements.
Special Accounting and Consolidation Topics: Handling complex accounting and consolidation issues such as mergers, initial and deconsolidations, PPAs, and more.
Auditor Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors during group financial statement audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.

Your Experience

Education: Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional qualifications such as CPA or Wirtschaftsprüfer are a plus.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in group accounting or auditing, ideally in an international environment.
Technical Consolidation: Extensive experience in technical consolidation as well as in the implementation and optimization of consolidation software solutions.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS; experience with US GAAP is a plus. Strong skills in financial statement preparation and audit-proof expertise in individual and group financial statements.
Specific Knowledge and Industry Experience: Comprehensive understanding of IFRS conversion, ERP implementations, and the integration of new entities (M&A). Experience in the SaaS business model is an advantage.
Technological Competence: Experience in digitizing and automating processes, particularly in the finance and reporting areas.
Internationalization: Practical experience in internationalizing financial structures and processes, as well as in building scalable reporting systems.
Language Skills: Proficient in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage for succeeding in an international environment.
