Your Mission
osapiens is looking for a passionate People Operations Specialist for our growing presence in Spain. You will tailor people programs for the Spanish market and take ownership of all processes across the employee lifecycle, drive improvements that enable osapiens to scale efficiently, and ensure that employees and managers receive the answers and resources they need, when they need them.
Your Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day operations of People processes: Be the point of contact for all People Operations activities such as new hire onboarding, payroll/benefits enrollment, employee record management, and offboarding in Spain
  • Day-to-day support for managers and employees: Provide first line support for ad-hoc inquiries sent from employees and managers and provide seamless support, responding to questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Support and Enhance People Operations Functions: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within employee lifecycle processes and collaborate with cross functional teams to drive development and implementation of best practice/scalable solutions leveraging the tools currently available
  • People Programs: Tailor our People Programs and initiatives to our growing market in Spain and support cyclical HR programs
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant local labor laws and regulations, update and streamline both internal and employee facing People (HR) policies and process documentation, and maintain accurate employee records
  • Payroll: Manage payroll processing and review of salary data sources in Spain and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all data sources related to salary; Assist with payroll and statutory audits as needed
Your Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations with broad knowledge in a generalist capacity, ideally within a dynamic, high-growth environment, and a strong understanding of operational best practices.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and employment law in Spain, with knowledge of additional countries considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the company and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of activities in fast-paced and dynamic environment, effectively balancing team priorities and ensuring smooth collaboration
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience implementing processes that scale
  • Experience with Personio is a plus; capability to effectively implement new technologies for HR solutions.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish & English is required.
